US Attorney at Law - Real Estate

I have my own Harvey Birdman!

At a very reasonable fee, I'm getting peace of mind - or is that piece of mind? It's certainly a piece of his mind - the lawyer will be reviewing the contract, making any comments or revisions, checking the title and survey and reviewing the settlement statement and closing documents. It's a solid double-check on the Title Agent.

I think that's a pretty good deal.

  1. I'm really so impressed! Worth his weight in gold! If there's one thing you'd have to do - get yourself an attorney. Please send a message if you'd like his contact details.

  2. Hey, How did you judge this persons ability/integrity? Yellow pages? The US has the most extreme form of litigation in the world. I mean look at all there damn tv shows! every second one is about lawyers or the law!! hah

  3. Hi Reeco - I went to the Florida Bar Association. That step made sure that my lawyer is currently registered to practise law in Florida. If they're registered to practise, they're also held accountable. There's a link at the top left-hand side of the blog.

I know it sounds funny, but I've also phoned every person I'm dealing with, from the title agent, to the inspector, to the seller himself. That also gives you a sense of what a person is like - much better than just emailing.
